On Monday, October 23rd, Martin Luther King High School students engaged in a captivating in-class session with APPLES! During this event, students dove into the nutritional value of apples and had hands-on experiences cutting the fruit while learning about its anatomy. The class culminated in a delightful activity where students sliced their apples and dipped their slices into warm caramel and selected their favorite toppings. It was a flavorful and educational experience that left the students with a deeper appreciation for the farm-to-table journey of this crisp and succulent fruit.
