On Thursday, April 25th, the Chicago Public School's Chef Council event brought together culinary enthusiasts and students for an exciting demonstration by vegan specialist Chef Chris Bough and Johnny Staniszewski, co-founder of Windy City Mushroom. The highlight was a Mushroom Hamburger, a nutritious and meatless alternative.

Students from Chicago's Southside Occupational High School enjoyed the in-person demonstration, while others participated virtually via Google Meets, following the recipe step by step. The event offered a delightful culinary experience and valuable insights into the potential of meatless alternatives, inspiring attendees to explore new culinary options.
